Natural Ingredients That Work!

We are committed to using naturally derived, whole ingredients in all of our skincare products. While each item in our line contains a unique, carefully constructed formula, we have certain ingredients we use often because of their proven benefits.

Here are some of the natural ingredients we love to use and how they work to nourish and cleanse your skin.

Hyaluronic Acid

You may have heard of this ingredient before as it has many benefits. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in your body. When used in skincare, it helps retain water, increases skin flexibility to reduce wrinkles, and even reduces scarring.¹

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba is a plant used frequently in skincare and for medicinal purposes. Jojoba oil is made by cold pressing the seeds of the jojoba tree.

When used as an oil in skincare, jojoba has antioxidant properties and can help reduce acne and inflammation.²

Meadowfoam Seed Oil

This oil is made from the seeds of the meadowfoam plant. While meadowfoam seed oil isn't as common of an ingredient as jojoba oil, we find it has just as many benefits. This oil has a unique chemical structure that makes it perfect for moisturizing skin without leaving behind a greasy residue.³

Rose Hydrosol

This natural ingredient is derived from roses during the distillation process to create rose essential oil. Rose hydrosol has anti-aging and anti-acne properties and it also creates a light, floral aroma that’s very pleasant.

Sea Buckthorn Oil

Sea buckthorn is extracted from various parts of the sea buckthorn plant found in the Himalayas.

It’s often used in skincare products because it has anti-aging properties. It is rich in antioxidants and vitamins K and E. Sea buckthorn oil has many uses, including reducing acne and promoting hydration.4

Honey

Honey is a wonderful natural ingredient that isn’t just delicious to eat. It also has many benefits in skincare and can help with healing scars, evening out skin tone, and even removing acne.5

Our Easy-To-Follow Skincare Routine

Creating a skincare routine doesn’t have to be difficult. If you’re a skincare pro, you may already have an established routine, but we’d love to suggest how to use our line as a comprehensive skincare approach. Our products were also designed to easily integrate into your existing rotation if that works better for you.

And, if you're new to using skincare, this guide can help you easily put together a daily routine that’s simple to follow and yields great results.

Here’s how to use Camille Beckman skin care for a morning and evening skincare schedule.

Morning Routine

For a daily morning routine, we suggest following these steps for the best results:

  1. Sensitive Skin Daily Cleanser: Start the day with a cleanser that’s effective and nourishing. Use one to two pumps of the product and rub it into your damp skin using circular motions. Rinse with warm water and then pat dry.
  2. Hydrating & Brightening Face Mist: Next, apply the light, brightening face mist after your skin is clean and before applying moisturizer. You can also spray this light, uplifting product throughout the day for a pick-me-up.
  3. Deep Hydration Anti-Aging Face Cream: Then, apply a light layer of our face cream to your face, neck, and décolletage for hydrated skin throughout the day.
  4. Sunscreen: After cleansing and moisturizing, we suggest using your favorite sunscreen to protect your skin.

    Evening Routine

Our suggested evening routine is similar to the morning regimen, but with a few adjustments to ensure your skin gets deep hydration and restoration while you sleep.

Here is what we suggest for a nighttime routine:

    1. Cleansing & Moisturizing Face Oil: We recommend beginning with our face oil as a cleanser to remove makeup and dead skin. Despite popular belief, oil is great for restoring your skin and building up collagen. Using our face oil, you can cleanse build-up from the day while adding nourishing nutrients from natural oils. Use a few pumps of the product and then wash off with a damp, warm washcloth.
    2. Sensitive Skin Daily Cleanser: Depending on your skincare goals and needs, you can either use our daily cleanser at night as an alternative to our face oil. Or, you can use them on alternating nights. These products are versatile, so you can adjust the routine based on what works best for your skin.
    3. Hydrating & Brightening Face Mist: After cleansing deeply, apply the face mist lightly over your face and neck before adding the face cream.
    4. Deep Hydration Anti-Aging Face Cream: For nighttime use, apply a thicker layer of the face cream, allowing it to nourish deeply as you rest and wake up with soft skin.

    Busting Common Skincare Myths

As skincare has become more popular than ever in the beauty world, there are many misconceptions that go around. You may hear conflicting information or too much information at once, making it difficult to know what’s true and what works.

Here are some common skincare myths and the truths you need to know to use skincare effectively.

Myth 1: You need a long routine to see results.

You may see online that some people have long, complicated skincare routines with ten or more steps. While complex routines can be fun sometimes, they aren’t necessary to see results. In fact, using too many products at once can lessen effectiveness or lead to issues like breakouts.

Instead, using quality products over time that maintain a healthy microbiome and nourished skin barrier is more effective and safe for your skin.

Myth 2: Understanding skin care is complicated.

Because there are many different products and various skincare issues people want to address, it may seem like skincare is too complicated to understand. This doesn’t have to be the case!

Most people need the basics: cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreen. While you can try different steps and routines to see what works for you, many people will see benefits from adding just these three products and using them consistently.

    Myth 3: Skincare doesn’t make a difference.

Another common myth is that skin care isn’t necessary. You may have heard people say that skincare doesn’t work for them or that their skin is naturally perfect without skincare.

The truth is that everyone’s skin is unique. Some people may be born with naturally smooth skin and may not need as consistent of a routine. However, most people will notice changes in their skin as they age, and sun damage is another major concern for everyone.

If you want to ensure your skin is healthy, keeping your skin clean and hydrated is important and can make a big difference, especially in the long run.
